A Little About Who We Are...
FIRST ASSEMBLY of GOD is a church that is friendly and caring, and where you will feel loved regardless of who you are, where you've been, or where you're going in life. Each of our services are prayerfully designed to meet the needs of each individual.
Our worship services are tempered with both contemporary worship and traditional hymns. The sermons are biblically sound and provide instructions to live a victorious Christian life in today's society. You will find a variety of ministry opportunities to be involved in as a participant or as a recipient.
FIRST ASSEMBLY of GOD is committed to becoming a church "Reaching the un-Churched." We feel strongly that God has commissioned us to reach Andrews with the Pentecostal message. In doing so we have positioned ourselves to achieve the following goals:
- Become more evangelistic and outreach oriented in our ministry.
- Design services and ministry for the unchurched.
- Be consistent in being involved in more people accepting Jesus as Savior.
- Be a church where people can experience God's Love.
- Be a church where people can learn to live by faith.
- Be a church where people can experience the Spirit-filled Life.
- Be a church where people can know about the abundant life given by Christ.
- Be a church where worship is Spirit-led.
- Provide opportunities for individuals to grow in their relationship with Christ.
OUR PURPOSE...Why We Exist
